WINTER

The region becomes a fairy tale wonderland.  Saddleback Ski area opens for the holidays, offering the last uncrowded skiing in the East. Snowmobiling through the Maine woods may be unmatched by any other experience.  Rangeley also plays host to over 60 km of beautifully groomed Cross Country ski trails.  State of the art groomers make them amongst the finest in New England.
